My practice utilizes a client-centered approach, which encourages clients to be in the driver seat of their own experiences. I foster an environment that helps create a strong therapeutic alliance, while also incorporating approaches that encompass holistic and collaborative dynamics. I believe we are all made up of parts and that they show up in different ways to support and protect our inners selves. I work with my clients to have a better understanding of their parts, how they interact, and how these parts show up in the day to day. I believe knowledge in oneself is empowering and leads to individual growth.
I have over seven years of experience working with individuals impacted by various traumas, including physical, sexual, and emotional abuse. I also work with individuals who have been victimized by crime. I am an IFS-Informed therapist through IFSCA and am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy.
After our first session, clients can take away an understanding of the therapeutic process and begin to build a trustworthy and positive relationship between them and myself. This is an equal relationship and I encourage clients to ask questions! Send an e-mail so we can schedule a time to see if this is a good fit!
